Dear Doctor,
A friend of mine came to me on the 2nd of January 2013 to tell me that he slept with a prostitute and during sex, the condom he wore mistakenly got torn and he changed it immediately, he came to ask me that as the condom got torn while having sex, would he contact any S.T.D if the Prostitute had one? Dear sir, I have heard so much about you in the Newspaper and I know you would be consistent enough to answer this question...Thanks

The answer you seek depends on so many factors that no one can really say. That's the bad news. Simply let him watch out over the next 6 weeks or so for any untoward signs and get himself promptly treated for any suspected trouble. This means he should assume he got infected, pure and simple --until he can prove otherwise, okay? Next time -- (and there should be none; he should go and marry!!) -- let him take the precaution of wearing two condoms!!! What' the good news? He can actually send to us for some natural products that clear STD's (suspected or actual) from the system -- Call the helplines!!!
