First Sex Blues

Hello doctor, Complements of the season.I would like to know what experiences\things to notice\feel when a woman attempts to have or has sex for the first time because I am not sure of myself. The answers I get from people--what they say has not happened to me so I want you to tell me in detail the common things\experiences a girl feels at such a time? Please I need the answer fast to verify some things even if you want to send it as an attachment please just put your own answer down for me to read and learn. Doctor, I am relying on you and please do not publish my name and email address. May God continue to give you knowledge, bless you and your family; Amen Mariam, Makurdi Dear Mariam, To go straight to the point, these are some of the detailed expectations to mentally prepare for as you get disvirgined 1.Pain-- because of the breaking of the hymen 2.Some bleeding --of course you will make sure you are not menstruating 3.Little pleasure -- and some times no pleasure at all 4.Disappointment as to expectations of pleasure 5.Closeness to the man --even if painful 6.Fulfillment and joy and contentment if you loved him 7.Feeling of regret if you did not love him 8.Wondering about STD's (including "Almighty" HIV) --even if you used prevention and what to do to prevent them 9.Fears about getting pregnant-- again, even if you tried to prevent it 10.Deeper thoughts about whether the guy would love you, marry you, dislike you -- some amount of confusion about whether you did the right thing morally. These are some of the answers to your queries A last comment--precisely because of all these insecurities, you are advised to wait till marriage-- most of the above concerns will disappear because of the feeling solid all round security you feel in marriage-- I'm sure you understand? Please feel free to call and discuss any of the above issues and whatever else may trouble you at this juncture of your life as a woman Cheers

Toilet Disease?

Toilet Disease? Dear Doctor, Thank you for your column in Daily Sun. Could you please send names of drugs for treating gonorrhea and syphilis. How is toilet diseases treated and is it true that leaving it untreated causes gonorrhea or syphilis. I have somethings that looks like heat rash in my vagina. Could you please prescribe a drug for me ? Thank you very much. Thanks Dear BDT, Trichomoniasis(not even a proper STD) is the only disease people can get from the toilet/swimming pool; any other person with an STD telling you they got it from the toilet is only deceiving themselves; okay? How do people get Sexually Transmitted Diseases? Very obvious and simple. From the name, it is by having sex -- not by sitting on toilet seats -- even if the seats are very dirty. By the way, what do you mean by toilet disease? Itching vagina? That's not gotten from toilets at all; okay? There is nothing called toilet disease. If you itch in the vagina or womanhood, go to www.mediamedix.blogspot.com and read my very long article, "When Genital Itching Refuses to Stop". Describe what you mean and we'll be able to help you. Rashes in your vagina can be anything --a competent professional has to see it before treatment; okay? What causes gonorrhea and syphilis and any other STD? Not dirty toilets--no; but dirty morals-- sex with more than one partner. We call this promiscuity. Diseases take advantage of the moral breach and get in; that's all. Treatment? Although very much simplified these days it is still best to see a doctor.
