Dear Doctor,

Please what could be causing a moving sensation or an abnormal sensation inside one's head without having the same sensation in other parts of the body.pls give me a solution to that kind of problem.thanks.

Not only the head but even all over the body; whenever anyone has this kind of symptom or complaint the usual cause is a neurosis. A neurosis is a condition of the mind affecting the body --many times this condition of the mind being not so obvious to the sufferer. Let's suppose you haven't paid your house rent and the Landlord has been acting crazy--throwing people's things out and threatening fire and brimstone. You know that soon you'll be next to get the treatment. Of course you are worried and now you begin to have heart-beats that you hear--palpitation we call this one--and you can't sleep well anymore and then things begin to move all over your body. You see a true, well-trained doctor and he knows you have anxiety neurosis-- your system is reacting to the situation and in your mind you are seriously worried --even though you show no outward signs at all. Your system is simply reacting to the conflict/anxiety/worry/pressure within by giving you bodily-felt symptoms that cannot be verified or objectively measured by another party. This is called the Somatization Syndrome or a Psychosomatic disorder and can be treated. If you go to a quack who never attended medical school but peddles some PhD from a Chinese University--or so he claims --he will tell you it's Syphilis or Staphylococcus, which it is not. It's just some hidden anxiety situation that will get better on some psycho--active drugs and mere counseling. The doctor then gives you medication to treat and remove your symptoms while he tries to locate the source of your anxiety/worry or overthinking. If you follow instructions and use your meds you get well; if you despise the doctor then you follow quacks who milk you dry of your hard--earned money treating Staphylococcus. No; there's nothing physical that walks round anybody's body--it's a problem from the world of the mind--very real, too--but that's the correct location and psychiatrists are really the best doctors to treat this kind of problem--they have highly effective treatments too; but unfortunately, to recommend a psychiatrist is usually to make the sufferer feel you're saying he is mad--which, nothing can be farther from the truth. You have no real problem. See a psychiatrist who will help sort you out beautifully.
